AprilTag detection for building measurement Kepa Iturralde, Jungcheng Shen, Thomas Bock Pages 589-592 (2023 Proceedings of the 40th ISARC, Chennai, India, ISBN 978-0-6458322-0-4, ISSN 2413-5844) Abstract: Building façade renovation with prefabricated panels requires installation supporting connectors. Obtaining exact locations and angles connectors is currently a time-consuming activity. The new method presented in this paper uses markers as targets on wall measures them based photogrammetry concept. 3D coordinates are estimated by our algorithm, then we can obtain location direction each connector. Current results promising but still need some improvement. Our goal to measure position angle marker, error should not exceed 1mm at about 10m away from building. This objective reached paper, latest advances show very close results.
